Job Description

  • Managing the team according to expectations from management and stakeholders;
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction;
  • Being a chartered accountant, or bring in significant (8+ years) finance experience in an expert, project and/or leading role;
  • Helping to shape the future processes in finance book-to-report;
  • Driving projects that enable book-to-report to become a world-class process in terms of setup, standardization and automation;
  • Challenging the status quo in our service locations operations and worldwide and always looking on how to become better;
  • Enforces implementation of standards;
  • Acting as a business partner to the stakeholders;
  • Being strong promotor of the team, and actively seeking for opportunities and acquisition;
  • Delegating tasks, and mentoring associates in their development;
  • Ensuring that all teams meets KPI’s and Cost targets set by management and Controlling;
  • Seeking for solutions to problems and/or upcoming problems;
  • Ensuring the team meets budget and cost targets;
  • Ensuring timely PANF Process hiring of new associates;
  • Coordinating and working closely with external partners and teams (including audit, RMP);
  • Being responsible to supervise and delegate tasks regarding day to day activities to teams and team members;
  • Being responsible to provide services to customers in accordance with the agreed Service Level Agreements (for the team managed);
  • Ensuring processes within area of responsibility follow agreed corporate guidelines, Central Directives and local working instructions;
  • Implementing, conducting and documenting process related controls;
  • Being responsible to provide required information/ documents to internal and external auditors;
  • Offering support in on boarding new comers (identification of training needs, training assignment, follow up on completion and overall progress/ development);
  • Providing guidance to direct reports to optimize performance, including monitoring workloads and related assignment to ensure completion of activities in time and quality;
  • Providing support to other SSC departments whenever needed and to other customers’ employees, within the frame of Service Level Agreement;
  • Ensuring complete timely and duly reporting to management; escalate topics/ issues according to agreed escalation matrix;
  • Ensuring customer’s complaints are analyzed and handled efficiently, errors corrected and measures implemented to avoid future occurrence;
  • Being responsible to derive monthly KPIs, analyses and comment results/ variances and propose improvement measures if case;
  • Being responsible to attract, develop, retain and efficiently manage associates within area of responsibility, including direct reports;
  • Being responsible to conduct Goal & Performance Dialogue/Annual Salary Review/Talent & Associate Review for direct reports;
  • Creating WorkOns for replacement of personnel and participate in the hiring process (e.g. screening of candidates proposed by HR, interview participation and hiring decision);
  • Promoting and driving process standardization, harmonization and improvements (through CIP);
  • Other administrative tasks: approval and monitoring of vacations, days off, home office and requests from the team, supporting IDM request for the team in his/her area or responsibility;
  • Ensuring efficient and timely communication with all relevant stakeholders (customers, own team, other shared services processes, external parties, administrative support departments);
  • Your team is an Agile team working on different global projects;
  • Fulfils any other tasks related to area of responsibility, as requested by direct superior.


  • University Degree;
  • Language: English advanced level, any other language would be an advantage;
  • More than 10 years of work experience;
  • Strong management and leadership skills;
  • Previous relevant experience in a similar role, customer and solution oriented attitude;
  • Solid knowledge of Shared Services Finance and Accounting processes, organization and reporting structures;
  • Good experience in working with SAP or other ERP systems;
  • Good organizational skills (organizational design and development, planning and delegation);
  • Strategic thinking;
  • Multicultural work environment exposure, promoting the company’s image;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Good presentation skills.
