- Be responsible for a new category at Bosch: sale of all valuable materials out of the production sites (eg, precious metal, metals, plastic, …);
- Regular tenders and market evaluation of all metals, LME metals, precious metals and other valuable materials – main focus in increasing revenues considering TCO in scraps sales;
- Input to and implementation of global strategies for the defined category by ensuring compliance requirements;
- Preparation and execution of tenders (RFI / RFQ);
- Design of Negotiation Strategy and execution under competition as well as w/o competition for all valuable materials. In case of legislation change, adapt in the running contracts;
- Build effective stakeholder relationship management (e.g. technical functions, facilities function). Increase of early involvement and project coordination;
- Preparation and approval of purchasing decisions / contracts in accordance with the signature regulations;
- Management of Contracts, follow the defined index variations (like LME and exchange rate) and sale price update;
- Price check and price clearing in case of deviations;
- Support in case of quality problems (e.g. contamination, etc.) clarification, renegotiate if necessary;
- Scrap buyers visits and development;
- Market analysis to identify and follow current trends;
- Identify new sales possibilities and strategies.
- Fluently spoken and written English and German;
- Contract and Price negotiation;
- Understanding the basic knowledge of the supply chain area (logistics, planning, order, etc.);
- Project Management and capacity to efficiently manage multiple projects;
- Effective listening and communication (verbal and written) with stakeholders on various hierarchy levels. Good cross-functional coordination and commercial mindset;
- Clarity and Accuracy: Checks own work;
- Willing to take responsibility and decisive in a time-sensitive situation;
- Teamwork: Solicits inputs and encourages others;
- Problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to identify issues, develop solutions & drive results;
- Data Analysis and proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Fluently spoken and written English. German would represent an advantage;
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ minimum professional experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Contracts Management or equivalent role;
- Profound Microsoft Office knowledge and able to work in a digital environment;
- Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking.
